After wanting a BMW Boxer powered bike for 48 years, I acquired a 2009 RT. I have not had a bike for 30 years and decided I needed to ride again. This is, without a doubt, all I had ever dreamed of. Looking forward to rediscovering the East Coast. And being outside Charleston SC, I can head south in winter and north in summer. Looking forward to meeting fellow BMW enthusiasts.

Welcome, Bud! Looks like you're well positioned for year-round riding. Enjoy the miles!

Hello and welcome! My name is Chris and I live in Anderson South Carolina. I just purchased a used 2018 R 1200 RT. I love the bike! In South Carolina we have year long riding! If you ever make it up to the upstate reach out!

Peace,
Chris
