    wiring for rear auxilliary brake and running lights

    I'm going to try hooking up some small LEDs for the rear of my 2016 F 700 GS to increase my rear visibility. Is it okay to simply tap into the existing brake and running leads? Are there two separate leads for these functions? I know brown is ground, but does anyone know what the colors are for brake and running light leads? Thanks!

    The brake and running light leads are one in the same because the same LEDs in the taillight perform both functions. The bike's ZFE pulse width modulates the LEDs to make them appear dim for running and brighter when braking.

    I think you are going to need a bike specific kit for the reasons the post above mentioned. Skeen Design has some ideas IIRC.

    Hex?

    Hezezcan is supported now on the F800 series so I would send them an email and see if they thought it might work on a 700, since they are very similar (I would guess "yes".) Very easy way to add electrical circuits.
