Just out of curiosity, how many kilometres do Canadians ride in a year? Below are my stats.

Year - Kilometres
2010 - 13799
2011 - 11762
2012 - 14062
2013 - 13613
2014 - 13599
2015 - 11919
2016 - 12191
2017 - 12403
2018 - 11124 to date

Before my wife retired five years ago, I used to ride between 15,000 - 30,000 kms/year.

After her retirement and a few health issues on my part, between 8,000-15,000 km.

Next year, 2O,000 km, maybe? Who knows? I now wait to see what happens to interfere with my plans. :)

My average is somewhere around 10,000 km per year. Some years (like last year at nearly 15K) are more others are less, it just depends on time for trips and weather. This year was below average.

I ride about 8,000-10,000+ kms per year, however, we have several Club members who do 20-25k+ each year.
