Haven't seen this one but there was a twin engined R69S at the third MOA National in Branson. Sorry but I don't have a picture of it. It had a downdraft carb on each side as I remember. Might have had a Vermont license plate. I seem to remember a big German Shepard laying across the gas tank. Or maybe my memory is playing tricks again.
I, too, looked for "copied" detail from one engine to the other. But I keep thinking how would one possibly synch the two engines?? Synching two carbs is tough enough on a twin cylinder engine...but two engines with separate cams, cranks, etc.
Looks like a lot of work for so little in return. That rear facing exhaust manifold had to be tough on the exhaust valves and seats, feet, and shins, legs. Ouch!
