The web site maintenance is, ah, "poor" (and I'm trying to be charitable). Here's a link for the latest (9/11) results. http://motorcyclecannonball.com/uplo...0911%20(1).pdf

Rode up to Mason City Iowa today to see the bikes at the lunch stop.
I arrived at 10:40 and the first rider rolled in at 10:45.

Noticed quite a few bikes had bicycle headlights, taillights and bicycle computers or bicycle GPSs
This guy had a bicycle GPS.

    Spotted one female rider.

I saw several riders working on their bikes.
Theses guys were smart and moved into the shop to get out of the sun.

Good weather day for the riders. It was 85 and partly cloudy when I was at Mason City.
My bike showed 91 when I rode through Des Moines on the way home, but I'm guessing northern Iowa stayed in the mid 80 as the riders rode to Spirit Lake Iowa.

I had guessed the route would try to stay on county roads, but a couple riders told me they were on hwy 218 which is a main highway and mentioned it was not pleasant for some of the riders who had top speeds of 45 or 50 mph.

    Cool pics.
Did you get a feel for the attrition rate?

One rider told me he thought 6 bikes had dropped out
He said two had a accident in a construction area.

    Fantastic, Lee; thanks.

I imagine most of the riders have elaborate pre ride check lists to go through. It must take a long time to learn some of these machines.

I rode up to the Tuesday 11 Sept 2018 evening stop in Bowling Green, Ohio. Following are a few photos of the bikes, riders, and crowd -

Along to way to watch the Cannonball 2018 stop in Bowling Green, Ohio I stopped in at Brim's in Kenton, Ohio. One could buy a bike suitable for a future Cannonball Run -

    brim18-1.jpg

This is a worthwhile place to stop for a bit if in the area -

One can find newer bikes at Brim's also -
