    1150 RS leaking shock?

    Before I take of rear wheel. (novice at best) Can this leak be anything other than a leaky rear shock? It is a Hyperpro shock.

    It certainly looks like it but I'd give a good look at everything else in the area to be sure. If the shock shaft feels oily you've probably found the culprit.

    Wash off with fresh solvent, blow completely dry.
    Go for a ride and observe carefully.
    It certainly looks like the shock.

    In rare cases oil can come from the airbox from an overoiled filter.
    Ufda happens..........

    leaky shock

    thanks for the input. Will clean the bike first and see if leak continues.
