'85 K100 fuel cap rebuild kit questions

I bought this kit to rebuild my 1985 K100 fuel cap. I looked at some online videos of the rebuild by my cap does not look like anything in the videos.

Hello.

That looks like a "push button" cap. I don't believe push button caps use the same parts as the keyed caps.

I don't know if you found your parts, but you might look at these. BMW no longer makes them. Bob's carries aftermarket ones.
