+1 - I got mine at the National in Billings for my current RT but have used them on other bikes too. No trick to installing them see web site above.

    Buddies

+1 Also used on other bikes as well for several years. Follow his suggested mounting position and it's a great fit.

will the foam help alleviate the vibe
I am using airflow summer gloves but no relief for the vibrations. Have not found a gel glove over the counter.

My experience is that it does a little. I don't experience as much vibration with my RTW as I did with my R1150RT, but for that, a set of Wunderlich Bar-ends and Grip Puppies worked fine.

The Grip Puppies started to tear after about 4-5 years and I switched to Grip Buddies which have lasted great. I have used them on several bikes and like both the larger diameter they create and the cushioning. YMMV

Here's a review on heavier bar end weights for the Wethead.

Hudson Valley Bar ends on 2017 RT

I put the Hudson Valley Bar Ends on my 2017 prior to my run to the Colorado BMW Getaway weekend. I put around 3,500 miles roundtrip from my Michigan start and stop spot. I really did notice a lot less vibration around the 4,000 rpm range prior to the change out. The bike is finally getting some mileage on it, over 9k, and it could also be due to the bike is getting smoother as it is breaking in (okay, maybe I getting smoother with more miles)

    Ooops, I meant to say

I meant to state, I noticed a lot less vibration with the bar ends installed versus what I felt prior to the changeout.

Anyone found a way to use the older “spiral” style grips on a new LC?

I’d love to swap back to those but am afraid to ruin the heater element.
