Question about BMW GS/GSA topcase fitment

DBCasey

Enjoy the ride!
Will a 2018 model of the BMW GS/GSA topcase fit onto a 2010 GSA? Not being a GS type rider, I didn't know if there were any differences between the newer model GSA tail rack and the 2010 GSA.

I've got a GSA riding buddy who's looking for a BMW topcase. He's found one from a newer GSA for sale but didn't know if it would fit.

Thanks in advance for the info!

Check the part # for the 2010 case & a newer ('13 & newer) GSA. May give you the answer you need.

I think checking the part number for the case bracket might be a better check. The topcase doesn't bolt directly to the rack.
