Satellite radio is being blocked. Radio is searching for satellite signal. Happens frequently when riding in wooded terrain or in urban areas with tall buildings.

It seems that SiriusXM uses a variety of satellite and land-based/ terrestrial signal sources. I just took a look at the SiriusXM entry in WikiPedia. It's dense stuff but interesting. Here's the URL: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sirius_Satellite_Radio If you scroll down to "Technology" that's where the stuff about the way the signal gets to your radio is listed.
