Don't know why you felt it necessary to start this new thread on the same topic. It's the only subject you've discussed, so it isn't like you should be confused.

Though you did the same thing over on bmwsporttouring.com.

Don't know whether to class this as senility, or just a lame marketing attempt.

why so much hate from people? yes, im on different forums as well and I don't see why not to make it easier and just copy into a different forum. forums are for discussions and I do like this project and want to see what other experienced bikers think about. thanks so much for your time to make that pointless hateful response

Glad you posted again since I missed the original post and thanks Mika for your link. I enjoyed reading some of the background and am amazed this concept goes back that far. I like the look as well.

Agree. I am thinking it is a good way to ruin both an RNineT and an old R7. Guess this is a reason for so many different models and types of vehicles--allows everyone to select something they like.

I think it's a rather neat project and would like to see it.

My impression of a project like this is amazement of the talent it takes to conceptualize and machine the different components needed to bring the design to fruition. Whether I like the end result or not is immaterial. The travel on the journey is much more important than the final destination....imho!
