Cool Scenic Route from Michigan to Barber Museum

I'm planning a trip from Michigan to Barber Museum in Alabama (Hopefully 10-12 days, including a stop-over at a friend's house in Ashville, NC on the way back to Michigan). Unfortunately, I really don't know what I'm doing with this GoogleMaps stuff ...and I don't know if I'm getting all the cool/scenic routes -- but here's the "rough draft".....

Does anyone here have any suggestions/insights in perfecting this route? (Avoid all ribbons, if possible)
*Trying to hit as many motorcycle museum, classic cars museum, aviation museums, or any cool museums along the way.

Stop in Louisville and visit a few bourbon distilleries!

See if you can figure out a way to go through Athens, Ohio. Southeastern Ohio has some fantastic rides. Check out Ohio's Windy 9.

I have found some more scenic roads in Florida I wasn't aware of so I hope this helps out!

It's a great resource that I use all the time.

You mentioned aviation museums. If you haven't been to the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Oh, it's a must see. Plan on spending a long time there. Lots to see.

Stop in Bowling Green & visit the Corvette Museum. See the cars that fell into the sinkhole. See the "missing" 1983 Corvette. Why do I say "missing" model year? Because officially there was no 1983 model, but there were a few made. See the only known one in existence today. From Bowling Green, pick up US231 and follow it to Birmingham, bypassing the traffic mess known as Nashville. South of Huntsville, you have two good choices -- near Cleveland, AL, take AL79 to I-20/59 to Barber's or take US231 all the way to Asheville, AL where you'll pick up US411. Follow US411 to Leeds. In Leeds, right on US78 to Rex Lake Rd. Left on Rex Lake to Barber's.
