What is the WOTL for new tire choice for R1150RT?

Trying to find a set of PR 5ís for my Ď03 R1150RT. Seems that Michelin does not make the rear size.

What is the WOTL for the tire of choice? My speed demon days are past....now mileage and safety and road grip are my criteria.

    Thanks...

When I wanted to replace the PR2s on my 1996 rt with the PR4s I couldnít find them in the 18Ē rear so I called Michelin and found they donít make them in the 4s or 5s and they recommended the PR3s. I liked the 2s so Iím sure the 3s will be as good.

After running Pilot Roads since the 2 series, I just switched to the Dunlop Roadsmart 3's. I haven't run Dunlops in years and wouldn't have tried these save for very good reviews and, at the time, a $75 rebate. They don't give up anything to the Pilot Road 4's...

I don't think you can go wrong simply by shopping price between the Michelin Pilot Road 4/5's; the Metzeler Roadtec 01, the Pirelli Angel GT, the Continental RoadAttack 2 Evo, or the Dunlop Roadsmart 3's. They are all more capable than most of us are.

What is the WOTL for new tire choice for R1150RT?

I ride an Ď02 R1150RT. As of last summer Iíve been riding on Metzler Roadtec 01ís. Iíve been very happy with their performance. I canít really offer a fair comparison between the Metzler and the latest Michelin tires. My last set of Michelin tires were the PR2ís. The Metzlers are really great though and I definitely recommend them.
