Re-installing OEM skid plate front 2 bolts on '17 F800gs after oil change

The 4 main nuts holding the skid plate are no problem, but how the heck can you get the nuts on the bolt on the two front bolts. For expediency, I'm gonna put the head of the bolt through the top on the inside, and screw the nuts on the outside. Not ideal if I bang it up on a trail, but I'm stumped.
    Can anybody help?
It came back from Max's installed correctly after my first dealer oil change though, so they've found a way.

Leave those two bolts alone next time and remove the long cross bolt that holds the front bracket to the engine.

    Thanks Ed.

I will take a look at it in the morning. I never even considered that. I knew someone would have an easy fix.
