I'm sure you know more areas of interest in the state that I do, so I'm willing to tag along on rides and explore areas anywhere you'd like to head out to.

I can bring the GS or the KGT, likely the GT where you have the RT.
I'm very close to Florence, San Tan Valley area to be exact. That would be really fun. Have some other dudes that enjoy a good ride as well that can tag along. Know plenty of areas around Az, just let me know when your back. Both bikes would be great! 🏍💨

Last time I was up was about 2 yrs. ago . Think it was x-mas week. Started at bottom about 55-60
when we got to Summer Haven it was in 40's .
Some corners in shade had ice across rd. in 2 ft. wide strips. It will wake you up!
At top people were skiing & kids were sliding at ski area. I love the road , hope I can get back soon.

I've been out twice now riding with onlyrt4me. First time we and two other friends of his did a 350 mile round trip to go to breakfast. Twisties to Jerome, Az, back through Payson. Just last weekend onlyrt4me and I did a run up 88 to Tortilla Flats early morning and then had breakfast at Canyon Lake Marina.

He's got vid of both, he's putting both together for me. His buds and him run go pros, the other two front and rear on their bikes. onlyrt4me know how to ride that RT. First time to Jerome I took the K1200GT and last weekend the 1200GS.

Looking forward to hooking up soon for that trip to Mt. Lemon. onlyrt4me

My dad was stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB (Tucson) in the late 40's. We used to enjoy loading up our '41 Plymouth and making the drive up Mount Lemmon to get a break from the summer heat in Tucson. Going up the concern was overheating the engine; coming down the worry was brakes. Your video brought back some nice memories. Thanks for posting. Jim
