600 Miles checkup

Hi,
Is there anything special to have the mechanic check and do besides what is scheduled on the 600 miles BMW check list.

My GS seems Ok but the only things I could say is that the engine is quite noisy ( it may be normal). and there is some vibration in the handle bar. The vibration is more important than on my other bike so I am not sure it is OK.

Thanks in advance for any information.

My bike will be headed in for its first service this month. BMW recommends changing the brake fluid after 1 year and every 2 after that.
My bike has a build date of 1/17. I asked the service managers advice and they suggested changing it even though there are so few miles.

They changed my brake fluid at the first "real" service past the 800 mile one. It was around 6000 miles and 5 months or so?

Headed to my dealer this Saturday for my GSA 600 mile service which is 180 miles away. Nice way to spend a Saturday. šŸ˜Ž I'll let you know what they did. Should be standard between all dealers..

The BMW philosophy (cars and bikes) is to do the first change of brake fluid after one year with the new owner, and every two years after that. It seems to be a function of time during which the brake fluid could accumulate moisture, and not the mileage on the odometer.
