Amazing story... how is that Nate chased and caught the guy riding the bike in his tow vehicle and not the police?

Based on his Facebook video there were two reasons I could glean.
    1. The villain was going the wrong way down a oneway. Nate chased. The police used radios to coordinate cars.
    2. Hot pursuit rules.
The key is the police and Nate got the job done. He is profuse in his praise of the work Amarillo police did in this case. I will take him at his word, he has first-hand knowledge.

More good news. Nate, with the help of Amarillo PD, and tips from the rider community have recovered all three of his bikes and much of his gear. The investigation goes on.

Happy ending! Now looking for a good bike lock!

Happy to hear all that ended well. However, as the touring season starts for me, this is a wake up lesson on how to best secure my RT when I leave it parked, unattended over night in some hotel parking lot!

    N8

Knowing N8, not sure I would want him in a foul mood, chasing me down with his stuff in my possession.

Glad that it seems to be working out.

    Stay classy N8!
