While changing oil in my bike (1994 R1100RS) I very carefully added 5+ quarts of oil (did not spill a drop) started it up immediately shut it off as something seemed not right. Now at a very slow idle bike making kind of squeaking noise on right side sounds like head gasket leak at slightly higher rpm do not hear noise.
I will except cheerfully all replies both those that might be helpful and those that might infer that I might be an idiot.
I have seen in the manuals many about overfilling oil can cause major problems so let me know what I should look for.
Bike on center stand front wheel not on ground could noise be from vibration of fairing parts, front fork televler stuff steering head bearings?
Bike has about 80,000 miles on it.
