will the luggage from a 98 r1100rt fit a 2000 model?

The title says it all. Thanks in advance.

You can go here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sel...00+RT+96+(0413,0418)&market=USA&prod=19980500 and browse for the part number for your bag, found here:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...9T-BMW-R_1100_RT_96_0413,0418_&diagId=46_0253

then compare it with the 2000 model here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...9T-BMW-R_1100_RT_96_0413,0418_&diagId=46_0253

Just don’t pay any attention to the prices, as they’ve not been updated for years.

Looks like the two years use the same parts diagram AND the part numbers are the same. So yes, they should fit.

Best,
DG

You can click on the part number in RealOEM and it takes you to another screen which shows the model effectivity.
