I'm currently riding a 2016 R1200GS Adventure. As you guessed. It's a great bike. I'm in the never ending process of modding and farkling it for extended Alaskan and other northern destination adventures. But I also love just getting out and riding.

I used to live in Nikiski, 77-88, Played a lot of softball in Soldotna and Kenai,Our sponsor was either Kenai Joes or Nightwatch in Soldotna. Lots of good folk and good times.
At the time had a Yamaha 650. Street bike . After that , too long to list, Just sold my 1600 GTL, Loved the bike but live in N Wy now and built a campground. Check us out www.wowmccg.com
I went to a more agile mountain cruiser,,, a KTM 1290. Only 3000 logged on this year but so far so good. Lots of moose and black bears on those roads, heads up and enjoy 2018!
