I'm going to try one more time to join the Vintage BMW Club (correct name VBMWMO thanks Kurt) one last time.

I have tried 2 previous times since the January and not heard a peep. I know it is probably a volunteer club and nothing happens instantly, but.......... maybe my reputation has preceded me. Even sent a request on their site.
Yes, I probably said something, did something or instigated other grumpy enthusiasts that may have created some kind of enthusiastic discussion.
I may be able to change, but that will take time.

Maybe they hibernate over there. Yeah, that's it. Hibernation !

It could be operator error on trying to complete the application. (Naw, it couldn't be me !)

Anybody live near or drive by to and from work that can knock on the door to check on them ?
Sorta like a welfare visit.

I'm one of the moderators on the VBMWMO forum. The last time I renewed my membership, I did it online without a hitch. Now there has been a server swap in the past 3-4 months and some small hincky things have been happening but I've not heard of issues related to joining.

The online area for membership is here:

http://vintagebmw.org/v7/catalog/80

The snail mail way is to print and send in this form:

http://www.vintagebmw.org/v7/sites/default/files/vbmwmo_member_app.pdf

If you me to make some deeper contacts, let me know.

Thanks for the offer Kurt,

I think now that all of the problem lies with me.

Not a very good introduction into a Club with an apology, first thing. But I'm used to it.

I look forward to contributing (through Dues, etc...) to somewhere that you can glean such valuable information.
