Bent wheel

Must have hit a pothole really bad , dunno how, but I've got a bent front wheel on my 2012 GTL. Anyone know of a shop that repairs motorcycle rims, or is it best to cough up the $$grand for a new one?

Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear about that...gotta hurt. Check some of the threads in the Similar Threads pane below. Seems like others have had this issue and they might have suggestions on where to send the wheel.

It might be worth knowing where you're located in case someone knows a place local to you. I know a place in NJ who does cast wheels - so when I've bent one - I just take it to him rather than having to fabricate a shipping box.

Thanks for input

I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area (north Texas region) and surprisingly no one repairs wheel anymore around here. Several places I checked said they no longer have equipment for motorcycle wheels. I'm checking a few shops around Houston, Tx and I'll post what I find. I'll prolly have to ship it out of state; saw the Woody's site, and might give them a look-see.

Also check with your comprehensive insurance about replacing it with a new wheel.
