    Congratulations on #1.

May I be so bold and offer an invite to share our time and space in Missouri, as Tom Asher has set up an opportunity in Missouri:

Streetmasters – Street riding class put on by Walt Fulton on the Horse Thief Mile course at Willow Springs Intl Raceway near Lancaster, CA. http://www.streetmasters.info/

Hawthorne Police Department – Street riding class put on by the the PD's motor unit. FREE OF CHARGE. https://hawthornepolice.com/ride-to-live/#,
    https://ridetolive.com/

Rialto Police Department – Street riding class put on by PD's motor unit. FREE OF CHARGE. (This one was run a couple of times last year. Not sure if they're going to put it on again. I have a call into them and will get back to this thread as soon as they call back). ON EDIT: Heard back. They're running the class again on May 12, 2018. It's STILL FREE!

Saddleback Rider Training – Beginner and Intermediate classes at Saddleback college in Orange County using the CMSP (California Motorcyclist Safety Program) currcicullum. There was (not sure if they're still doing it) a half–price discount code available from Irv Seaver BMW. https://saddlebackridertraining.com/

STMC (Street–n–Trail Motorsport Coaching) – Beginner and advanced classes in Colton, using the CMSP (California Motorcyclist Safety Program) currcicullum. BRC and ARC as well as dirt riding classes. http://www.stmcrider.com/index.html

RideRite – Beginner and advanced classes in Corona, Lake Elsinore, and Van Nuys using the CMSP (California Motorcyclist Safety Program) currcicullum. https://riderite.net/

I've taken the first three listed courses and highly recommend them. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: the second and third are FREE! The fourth may be available at a discount. A friend just took the BRC at the 5th course mentioned and got a discount for being a first responder.

Many more out there, Google is your friend.

    Thanks!
Kudos for seeking out additional training!

Though I spoke directly with owners/reps of two popular venues (Total Control and California Super Bike School) last week at the International Motorcycle Show in Chicago, I'm zapping you a PM with an alternate recommendation.

I fly out to Torrance a week from tomorrow to spend 6 days visiting my daughter. Oh, the joys of LA traffic/lane splitters await.

One of the few things that CA legislators have gotten right! Coming soon (relatively speaking) to a state near you. LOL

I took the Hawthorne PD Ride to Live class last year and I highly recommend it. FREE, great mentoring, cop cones, great drills. Did I mention it's free? I was exhausted at the end of the day!
