New BMW MOA Member

Hello All -

Just joined MOA, returning member from years ago. Currently on my 24th bike, 2017 R1200GS Triple Black. Best combo of comfort, power and handling I think so far. Picked it up new last May and been having a lot of fun with it. Winter project is the installation of Denali lighting & horn. Here is how she sits today. Looking forward to the new riding season, see you on the road.

Hi Douglas - Looks I'm the first to welcome you to the BMW MOA and the Forums. There is certainly a wealth of information here, with moderators who'll help you find what you need.

Looks like you've made a fine choice for a ride. Based on my experience, you might seek out the local BMW MOA Chapter near you, go to some meetings, then start thinking about going to a national rally of the BMW MOA. This year it's in Des Moines, Iowa. There are also "Weekend Getaways" throughout the warmer months, so you might take a look at some of these close to you.
