Nedco Genius G3500 smart charger

Hello, I'm a new user

Just bought a R1200RT LC 2017
Is there anyway to use my charger with one of the OEM socket or plug on my bike ?

On my previous bike, Concours 1400, I added a euro plug on the side of the bike, wired direct to the battery with a fuse, no relay, for charging the battery or to feed my lectrice vest...

thanks

Welcome to the forum.
I don't think anyone makes an adapter for the proprietary connector that Genius uses.
You would need to use the Genius battery pigtail attached directly to your battery, or use a different charger than uses a pigtail harness with a SAE connector.
With a SAE harness you'll have the option to use harness for heated gear and air compressors.

Heated gear normally uses a coaxial connector but it's easy to find SAE to coaxial adapters.

I don't think anyone makes an adapter for the proprietary connector that Genius uses.

That is why many hardware and auto parts stores sell wire cutters, wire strippers, soldering irons, solder, heat shrink tubing and SAE connectors.

All of my several chargers have SAE two-pole connectors whether they came that way or not.

And every one of our bikes have both SAE and coaxial connectors fused to the battery. Most also have DIN sockets too.

Agree with Paul. Many years messing around with these bikes has taught to me bypass the OEM socket for charging purposes. Use a fused SAE pigtail straight to the battery instead. If you don't want to lop off the NOCO connector you can do this: https://tinyurl.com/ybyffq2y
