How about that weather?

Crazy

Supposed to be in the mid to high 50’s this weekend (central Illinois) time for another ride!

That weather station display sits in the all wall consuming window of our bedroom and was behind a curtain all night. It was cold for my comfort level...maybe 63 when she opened the curtains. I had my blanket cranked up:violin

With no central heat, we heat the rooms we are in and play the thermostat game with each other all day

Maybe the temperature in the shop?

I keep my shop at 50* except when I am there working.

I have a Kerosun heater in the shop...but I couldn't find a real reason to be out there. It's insulated, but a lot of square footage to get it toasty on really cold days.

Wow; that's got to be tough when you're not used to it, and with no central heating. We hit 47 F today.

The cold you can layer up for, the ice on everything for days is annoying for us and locks us down
H thinks I will get up and moving at cooler temps in the house...I turn into a bear and hide and hibernate...or try:uhoh
I got enough cold outdoors playing lineman and quit complaining(as much) after seeing what my northern brothers dealt with in winter on a regular basis.

I have plumbing in the shop so I must keep it heated.
