website (not forum) help with avatar upload

I'm having a hard time figuring out where to correctly address this request for help. There doesn't seem to be a link to website help.

I've been trying to upload a pic for my profile, it looks like everything is working correctly, but the pic never shows up?
I click on Edit for the empty avatar, I select the pic I wanna use, click Open, and that's it. No other listed steps but also no pic.

Any help would be mucho apreciado.

Omega Man has written the basics on using an avatar here:

    https://forums.bmwmoa.org/showthread...-add-an-Avatar

There is also many pages in this thread for making your own avatar:

    https://forums.bmwmoa.org/showthread...-my-own-avatar

Also, post #16 here has more specifics on using the Setting panels:

Note that custom avatars have specific requirements in terms of size. If your avatar doesn't meet those requirements, it might not upload or show.

If there are more issues, don't hesitate to let us know.

With the “website (not the forum)” comment, I was wondering if he meant the area from the home page that requires an additional login.

    thanks

Thanks. Will check it out. I did sign on, and was able to upload pics (from the recent 40th anniversary RS rally) but no avatar pic. We'll see...

Thanks. Duh. That first link was all I needed. Couldn't be simpler. Not sure why the other method I started with didn't work but who cares now. Got my avatar (from the MOA National rally in Canada on the Shannonville track).
