Bike cover

Hi,
For my GSA I have the BMW plastic cover which is very good to protect again rain or snow but I noticed that it also trap a lot of condensation.
Is there any other bike cover not having this issue?
Thanks for any input.

Nb: not having BMW and BMW Mottorad all over would be a plus😀

Dowco https://dowcopowersports.com/covers/motorcycle-covers/ has covers in various sizes and price points. They're available from many resellers (e.g. Revzilla, Amazon, maybe Walmart). IMO the prices are reasonable.

We use Aerostich covers. They come sm-md-lg and are light weight nylon that packs into it's own little bag. It measures about 7" X 6 " packed. It has an elastic draw string around the bottom so you can adjust the snugness of it. They work well, and the only negative I can find is that you can't get a "custom" fit.

To address the original post, one needs a truly "breathable" waterproof cover to avoid condensation under the best of conditions. Under average, to poor, conditions you will get condensation no matter what you use.

The better the cover the less the condensation, but if you are outside with any amount of temperature swings there will be condensation unless the cover is virtually sealed to the bike. Inside it is best to use a very breathable dust cover. Outside, a waterproof cover that is as breathable as possible given that it is also waterproof.

I use a couple of different covers and have found the Nelson-Rigg covers to do a pretty good job. They make a half-cover that folds into it's own small pack which I always have in my luggage and use when I'm on the road if there is a likelihood of rain. It still gets some condensation underneath, but is far less than if it were uncovered.

I purchased this cover from DOWCO....(see link below)...I figured the price was right and it would do the job well......which it has. The other plus, is, when travelling, should you take it with you, there is less chance of it disappearing during the twilight hours as the Hi-Vis color is most likely unappealing to most. Its also easy to spot your bike under wraps while its in the parking lot. FWIW I have the Large sized cover which blankets our RT quite well

Hey gang, I'm looking to buy my first cover for my 1150 GS Adv ...with boxes.

Do any of you use your cover with both top box and side boxes attached? I'd preferably get one that works with the full set up and if I have the boxes off.

I'm trying to sort out size-wise what will do the job best.

Thanks in advance for your insight.

I saw your PM but thought I might respond here. Moshe Levy has been doing a lot of reviews lately...so far I haven't seen one yet...maybe we'll get lucky down the road:

There are a few threads listed in the Similar Threads pane below...maybe they'll have some ideas.

The last thing I did was to use google's site search by entering the following into the search box - site:bmwmoa.org covers. I got a number of hits...I'm wondering if something like this thread might have some ideas:

I use an Oxford cover for my K75RT. It works well with a tie for underneath the bike. I haven't noticed any condensation, but may not have met the conditions to cause it.
