A few years back, I had seen a rider riding with side wheels (looked like out riggers.).

Has anyone seen this kind of setup.

call or e-mail

THANKS

If you google "motorcycle outriggers" a lot of stuff comes up; everything from skid-test rigs to "landing gear" for heavy motorcycles, and snow riding outfits.

Try a search for "ghost wheels".

Be cautious. In some states these would make the bike a four-wheeler, and it wouldn't pass Federal safety requirements (seat belts, air bags, etc) for a four wheeled vehicle.

Side wheels

If you feel the need for four wheels so you don't fall over, those four wheels should probably be at the four corners, not three behind and one if front. Perhaps its time for a minivan. You could always roll the windows down and stick your head out if you miss feeling "the wind in your face". Works for the dog ! :)

My neighbor, who is in his 80s, traded off his Honda Valkyrie for a Can am Spider a couple of years ago.
This year he had it out in April and just put it away for the winter a two weeks ago.
As he parks on the street during the day, I can see he has the Spider out earlier and more often than when he had the Honda.
Just some thought for you if age is what your up against.

Franko, thanks for the idea. Showed it to the wife. She said NO WAY.

On we go have to keep looking.

Thanks

MTHelmet, what model bike? A Can Am is much safer than adding outrigger wheels and you can probably carry more gear.

Someone had a scooter with a set of training wheels in town did not see it around fo long, when he went around a corner it would scare you to watch the rig did not turn well
