Hi all, I am "this close" to buying a Roadcrafter jacket from Aerostich. Do you know if they offer Black Friday specials such as free shipping, 10% off, etc. I'd hate to do something tomorrow and find out I missed another opportunity to squeeze more dollars. Until midnight Nov 22nd you can get $10 extra per $100 of gift certificates purchased giving you almost 10% off the price.

I have bought lots of gear from them over the years. Personally, I'd wait and see. I'm on their mailing list and haven't seen anything yet except the Gift certificate deal.

If you ask politely, you usually can get free shipping; especially if its close to the end of the month and they have your size and color in stock.

I happened to be in St. Paul and decided to make the run up to Duluth. I found that they offered a discount for in-store purchases. I think it was 10%. I purchased my Darien at that time.
 
I ordered a new Darien jacket on Nov. 11th and found during checkout that they had a Veteran’s Day discount going. That was a nice surprise! So who knows, maybe they’ll do something for Black Friday. Personally, I hope the do like REI and send the employees home that day but leave the web store running.

Unfortunately they no longer offer the 10% discount for walk-in purchases.
 
I just called to see if there might be some Black Friday discounts and without telling me there would be discounts she said if I was going to order a jacket I should wait till Friday or Saturday. So....we'll see!
 
I ordered a couple pair of the long gauntlet elkskin gloves last month and got free T-shirt free shipping. Got a waxed cotton jacket walk in couple years back, 10% discount. I like their merchandise.

Thats good to know. Depending on how sweet of a deal it is, I just may need a new jacket...:thumb
 
They're running one of those pop-up stores in Cherry Hill, NJ from November 30 to December 3. They're looking for volunteers to help out, and bring some motorcycles too. No mention of any incentive for doing this. Here's most of the email I received:

I was there in April picking up a few items (not buying a 'Stich). I asked about the walk-in discount and was told it was no longer offered. Perhaps the discount now applies only to suits (it used to be offered on all walk-in purchases). Still, 5% off is better than 0%.....
 
Just got this email...you may have too!
