New System 7 Carbon helmet in the US?

I don't think the previous BMW helmet with removable chin has been available in the US. Any word on whether the new one will cross the pond?

I have not heard any rumors of the System helmets being sold in the US.

System 7 Helmets

Noticed that a Canadian dealer with an online store showing the System 7 Helmets has a disclaimer that the helmet can't be sold or shipped to the USA.

System 7 Helmets

I was talking to my local Canadian dealer about a System 7 to replace my aging System 6. He told me that whereas the System 6 was made for BMW by Schuberth, the System 7 is being made by BMW, allegedly as a part of some carbon fibre technology that BMW has acquired.

He said that the new System 7 helmets tend to fit smaller than the same sized System 6. Might be something to think about if ordering online.
