New innovation? Or just too cheesy?

So I saw this ad this morning and at first thought it was pretty neat. But the comments everyone was posting literally tore it apart.
A lot of the comments were quite humorous. "nothing says badass like a leg purse"
So I'm looking for your impression on this.

Face book isn’t really a new innovation, it can be cheesy........and invasive........and hard on your personal security. I don’t know anything about leg purses........cargo pants seem ok

For those with FaceBook phobia, here's a screenshot from the video on the leg-purse. List price $89.95. Special deal 50% off.

    Screen Shot 2017-11-21 at 4.12.18 PM.jpg

The video shows the wearer pulling a bunch of stuff out of three pockets, to include, keys, glasses, some unknown stuff and finally a small iPad.

Sorry I didn't know so many here were facebook phobes! Privacy is something nobody has any more. All I need is your name, address or phone number and I (or anyone) can go on google, look you up, boot up google maps and zoom right down to look at your front door right from my computer. Nope, privacy is no longer a privilege we have. Unfortunately.
Anyway, I digress. The item is the innovation, not facebook , seems that needed clearing up.
Thanks Exg-man for putting up the pic, makes it easier.

I would not buy any stock in the company making that thing. I have seen something akin to that on tradesmen such as carpenters and electricians.

The designer probably shouldn't quit his day job.

I too have seen similar items used by carpenters, etc. When I watched the video and the actor or demonstrator started pulling things out of that purse, I was not impressed a lot. Once he pulled out the iPad, I decided this was of limited utility. I put a lot of the stuff they were showing in my tank-bag.

I guess part of the look of the thing, if I can call it that, is to make it appear like a tactical holster for a firearm. Just my speculation, but I'd be mighty careful in a LE stop of somebody with one of those things.

Calling it a “Leg Purse” instead of “Hogleg Holster” is probably a good move, marketing-wise.

Sounds like you're considering getting one. If you do, prepare yourself for pointed fingers and stifled laughs.
