    Jesse Bags on R1200R

Anybody using any of the Jesse Bags on R1200R's or earlier R1150R's if there was such a model ?
Or the Wethead models for that matter.

I got off the train for a while during the K75's in the 90's (by choice and love it), but always yearned for a newer naked twin.

I donít believe they made Jesse Bags for any of the 1200 series R bikes. There are people on the forum who have them on 1150 Rs.

    Bags r1200r

Not what you asked but I used givi p35 on my 2011 and their rack mounting system. The racks remove in seconds and the bags are contoured for a nice look. Good system cheaper than BMW.

I always liked the Givi bags. Not the nicest bags, but for functionality and bang for your buck, they can't be beat.

I was looking at the V7 Stone Guzzis (for simplicity and charm), and I learned that Givi doesn't even make bags for their Italian counterparts. ?????

Got a picture of the Givis on the 2011 ?

I had Hepco Becker top loading aluminum bags on my 08 R12R. They are a basic square aluminum bag with composite corners. They worked well.

I had Jesse's on my R1150. The ground clearance was horribly insufficient until I put a GS suspension on it and raised it 3-1/2". The GS suspension has to be fitted with the GS side and center stands, footpeg brackets, brake master cylinder and foot controls. Big advantage is the increased leg room, but quite an undertaking with lots of time scouring used parts. This conversion is not possible on the R1200 because the footpeg brackets are welded to the frame instead of bolted on.

This picture shows the GS footpeg bracket and brake master cylinder...
