Leaky Oil Pressure Switch

Anyone know if Tom is still selling the sealed oil pressure switches?

Airheads have been following his progress on the AirList and he's moving about and definitely selling parts. He has mentioned that going forward his business will be shifting more towards parts and supplies and only component work but probably he will no longer be doing big restorations and the like.

I'm positive that he will appreciate airhead parts business during his convalescence and going forward.

Great- is this his email: rubberchickenracing@gmail.com

For 20 years + I've had a VDO sender.....2 lugs.....one for light....one for oil pressure gauge.........NEVER had a leak:thumb

Do you have a part number or more info on that VDO sender? I googled it, but can't seem to find one. Of course, it is a few years later now so things change.

Thanks

Don't ever go to our Vancouver dealer. I am not sure they will even touch an oilhead at this point but I know they will not work on airheads. At all...
They just send everyone to Shail's Motorcycles out in Langley. He stocks loads of parts and is a factory trained BMW mechanic who used to work for Vanouver BMW many moons ago and actually had a BMW dealership briefly but corporate demands on inventory minimums and stupid crap like repainting the shop in BMW approved colours finally drove him away. He has had his own BMW business for many years now. If he ever closes we're really screwed around here...

I believe that Shails took over from Phil Funnel's BMW when Phil retired... glad they are still doing well.
