Thanks Greg. I think I'll leave the heat gun alone and try to find a plastic piece I can snap onto the lower opening to prevent full closure. Shouldn't be too hard to find one. It's only fogged on me once in the rain, anyway.

I've thought about doing exactly the same thing, but just haven't actually tried anything. If you come up with something you like, let me know. Fog in the rain is a problem, so is heat on really warm days. A little opening really helps.
