Clock- changing time standard- 12/24

There used to be an article - and I "think" it was on the Internet BMW Riders tech site - that said you could do do some microsurgery inside the clock, cutting one trace and jumpering to another - but their present posting says no, it can't be done.

I fixed up your title a bit. I should attract more attention and help others when they search/research the same question.
Good luck.

Thanks I knew one part guy at local dealer said he had his changed to 12 hour cycle but he could not remember what he did to reset clock. It has two buttons to push with small pointy object to set hours and minutes just wondering if some sequence of button pushes changes the 12/24 thing, most of the old cheap quartz watches had the little instruction sheet that was not very useful but some could make sense out of them. I would think this quartz clock would use similar logic, but I am no German engineer bent on annoying American riders, so maybe not.
Not real worried about morning hours could just set it 12 hours off so it would right in the afternoon

Thanks for info was hoping it could be changed. Does not matter to much as I have to look at watch or phone to see if it's on daylight saving time or standard time anyway.
