austin, tx around lake superior and back

heading out next sat (sep 9) towards duluth. around superior. back thru sault ste marie and mi up. can meet up along way. open to ideas, xcept camping. have about 3 weeks.

Welcome to the forum! Should be a nice trip...Minnesota should just about be ready for winter then. :stick If the timing works out, might want to stop at Aeorstich's store in Duluth. Some very interesting products and nice people up there. The North Shore past Duluth is very nice.
 
had a great trip in sept thru midwest to duluth, then into canada, around lake superior and south to home. click avoid highways on google maps and you really get see america. not always the best weather, heat being the main problem. loved riding cooler miles in the rain. tune-up and warranty fork issue quickly and competently handled at friendly bak bmw in sioux city, iowa. 3910 trouble-free bmw miles.
