Hi,

In April, I got me a 1200 GS after 30 years of abstinence.
Still trying to keep up with the technological advances since I owned a kickstarter, lol.

I met a solo GS rider - also from Southern Cal - on Jul. 23 near Yakima, WA. I was in my stinkin' Lincoln and you asked me about MOA.
On my way home I stayed at a Lodge in Old La Sal, UT. The owner remembered having you as a guest not too long ago.
Well, I am back from my trip and received my membership card.
Since then, I've been looking all over MOA for you.
It would be awesome to ride along with you.

*Keeps fingers crossed in San Bernardino*

Like you, I was away for a long time. I was stunned at the technological advances when I returned to riding. You are going to love the GS.

Yeah, you are very right about that.
When I sat on different bikes at the dealership, the GS felt just great (a few inches lower would be even better for my short self, but I quit bitching a long time ago, lol).

*Cheers*

I think your bike is one of the most iconic BMW's ever produced.
Most of western european countries have had those as Cop Bikes, escorting statesmen.
They keep on running and running and running...
