After the Daniel Boone Rally

I am planning on going to the Daniel Boone rally in Boone, NC from CT.
I have taken the 2 days after off of work with a plan to ride down to the Great Smoky NP on Sunday after the rally.
Then on Monday start working my back to Ct. maybe via W. Va. to get home sometime Tuesday.
So I am looking for suggestions for a campground around the Great Smoky NP and a route on the way home that will take me home.
I have ridden/driven the Blue Ridge so am looking for something different that will fit into a 2 day ride home.

As always, TIA!

Those folks at the Boone Rally will help you out with trip planning. Many there, know the region quite well...
and will help you put together good travel with your time available.
IronHorse or Blue Ridge Cycle Camp are nice choices for access to/from GSM N/P.

219 goes from Bluefields, WVA all the way up to mid-pa when you turn nnw towards CT. Great road all the way.
