Just joined a few days ago after reading the great magazine we have. Loads of reasons to join--and all those events, WOW! After years of riding Gold Wings I made the switch to something 300 pounds lighter and with better handling and more horsepower, a 2017 R1200GS. So far I love it. Hard to believe but it rides smoother than the Gold Wings. Looking forward to meeting many of you.

Yes

Very close by it would seem. Don't get out a lot for rides as I have ridden every road around here a thousand times. Love getting away and doing trips with the bike. Coming up is a four day trip to the solar eclipse in Tennessean and a four day return ride. Just completed a week in Berkshire County, Massachusetts back in June. I write travel stories for motorcycle Mojo magazine.

I am also from Ontario, near King City. I have a 650 Dakar and a 2015 R1200RT. Have been getting out between the rain storms this year and enjoying the short Canadian summer.
