Boots that I can walk in

Under the heading of what's it worth
I ordered the bates touring boots (Brown) and will be waiting for me when I return from the rally. I wish to thank the many people who gave me thoughts and ideas

I'll be the heretic, my current M/C shoes are Ariat terrain H2O 6" shoes.

Then we'll burn together! Great boots, why change?

Thought I wanted Chippewa Rallys but they won't fit my calves. .. . Good heel, Vibram soles, extra material over the toes.

These are what I have been wearing for years. Old EMS work boots and they can be sent in for a resole, cleaning and so forth. Composite toe, all leather, somewhat weather proof, Vibram sole and so on. Going on seven years with only being sent in once, last year for servicing.

The Bates Fast lane touring boots (in brown) have arrived. they look great and smell of true leather. Only walking around the house the first couple of days to ensure proper fit. Will start riding them on Mon and from then it's "Hell bent for leather" (what ever that means) Thanks all for the inputs and suggestions
