white river ride

not lost til out of gas
hey all, it was a beautiful June day in Oregon yesterday, so I thought I would take a little ride. I left Troutdale headed for Estacada.

on the way to Timothy lake, this earth mover was making a big mess, I had to ride through 100' of mud 6 to 8 inches deep, that was fun. the other pic is the dam at Timothy lake.

4 miles east of Timothy lake, the rain has stopped. 20 miles east the trees are changing. I am heading down the dry side :)

on the way home ( back to the clouds ) I decided I should check out the headwaters of the White river. the first shot is just off forest road 48, the next are where hwy 35 crosses. sometimes there is a lot of water here.
