Wheel Bearing

Welcome to the forum!
I don't know on the XR, seemed premature on my F-800gs.
Enjoy the forum.

The rear wheel bearing is not a commonly reported issue. Anything can fail early but this issue is rare.

You might want to check your drive chain adjustment. If adjusted to spec on the centerstand the chain will be too tight and could lead to premature bearing failure.

The correct procedure is to adjust while the bike is unloaded and parked on the sidestand.
