Hey everyone, just bought my first BMW bike and am looking forward to riding Colorado and environs. Also looking forward to the tips and tricks that I hope to see on this forum, including the correct method of raising my shift selector so my fat-toed boots can sneak under it without needing ankle surgery :) I've thought about just replacing the pegs with lower ones, but I figured I might as well know about all of the options first...

Welcome to the forum!
The F8 is a nice bike. In the F-twins section there are some riders with a lot of experience.
