I know that everyone will be busy at the rally. I think that an early evening meet might work out best. After volunteering, seminars and dinner but before entertainment.

We still have time to get this put together so put your ideas out there and let's see what sticks.
I think I stole your idea for my visit to Das Rally. Unfortunately, they went to waste. Still, I will look at the local Dollar Stores for some kind of Canadian flag or other thing to pin on a shirt. Should help a bit.

the tags will be even more useful, as the evening wears on, because you can wear it upside down in case someone asks your name whilst ye be wandering about (ask me how I know..... ) - Bob

University Pub Crawls (many years ago). Ongoing joke was to be sure and put your address on the tag as well. It never really got that bad I suppose but every time I have the occasion to use a name tag I think of it. Much saner now. - Bob

Hey Martin! It will be good to get together with you two again. We head out of Larry's River on June 10 (Saturday) and taking the long way to the rally. I will be posting a few things over here https://forums.bmwmoa.org/showthread...ally-Canada150 while we roll west and then to rally. See you there! - Bob

It was something like that that did prevent me from getting to last year's meetup. Had just left, got recalled to help out Bill Wiegand's photographer transfer a "few" files from his camera. By the time I was able to get away, there was no sign of the gathering.

Hey guys I have paid up for the rally and had an interesting route planned to and from and then... a week ago suffered a heart attack and a few more subsequent aftershocks. I will be getting out of the hospital soon however, my Cardiologist is saying do the rehab and until I get an all clear no driving which will likely be six or so weeks. I tried the motorcycling is riding thing which did not amuse her. I will not be able to join you but my heart will be with you. Have fun!!!!
