R1200RT-P Luggage Rack for BMW 49L Case

Hello Gentleman,

I am a new owner for a 2011 R1200RT-P. As a P is the police version of the bike, the tail end is slightly different. I ended up seeing a good deal on a 49L top case for those bikes and I jumped on the opportunity to buy it. Now I am looking through the parts needed to make the case fit the bike.

From what I see there are quite a few parts different between the civilian and the police R1200RT. Could someone help me identify the parts that make up the "rack" that the tail case mounts on?
I am seeing there are 2 handles on the sides, but they do not seem to be structural parts of the case mounting system. Also I am seeing a "vanity" cover.

Are there any good places to get those pieces?

no luck?

I am a week away from buying a 2016 or 17 r1200rt-p and wondering about converting it as well.

How did you make out?
