2009 BMW K1300S - Transmission Output Shaft Seal Leak

I have a 2009 K1300S with 27,000 miles on it that appears to have a transmission output shaft leak (or it could be the gasket for the transmission cover that caps the output shaft and retains the seal). In any case, do any of you know what's involved to replace the seal (and presumably the gasket)? Does the engine/transmission have to be pulled from the frame or is it an in-frame repair? Can someone point me to a URL that provides the instructions (and hopefully images) for the job including torque values? Thanks.
