Bad news

Crap!
No way for someone that has been through so much to roll a 7.

Very sad & tragic. Since we follow all types of m/c racing, we have been around all the Haydens at some point. They are a nice family. Nicky will be missed, and I am so sad for Rose & Earl (I understand that Earl is not in the best of health). Ride in Peace Nicky.

I'm just sick about it. Back when they had the first MotoGP race at Indy in 08, I wrote Nicky a letter telling him I would be there, rooting for him and asked if he had any idea where the best seats to watch the race would be. He wrote me back, saying he didn't know where to sit because he had never been there before. He included a bunch of his 69 Honda stickers in the letter. Hard to believe a young guy would take the time to answer a fan letter from an old geezer but that's the kind of man he was. I read a few years latter that he always answered every fan letter.
R.I.P. Nicky.......

Condolences

Nicky was a great rider. Had the privilege to meet him at Mid Ohio during superbike days.
Condolences to the Hayden family and Friends.

Not only was Nicky Hayden a great rider, he was a great person. The sport, and everyone who ever met him, will miss him terribly.

A pic of Nicky with my wife.
