Motorhome option

I know this idea is sacreligious to many, but has anyone tried the motorhome motorcycle transport route? I am in the process of being homeless (selling my house) and am trying to figure out where to perch and means of conveyance. I just finished reading a previous post (Boy is lodging getting expensive). So I'm wondering if it would make more sense instead of scrounging night after night for overpriced motels, pick good spots to stage out of for a longer periods of time. I know there are pros and cons. Initial investment, pay to park, the hassle of navigating forty feet of vehicle through traffic, etc.

Nah, Motorhomes are great......As most RV's, they are assembled with Cheese-Wizz and hope.....They hope the Cheese-Wizz doesn't let go before the warranty runs out.

That said, if you have some mechanical aptitude, you will be fine......There are a number of considerations, and a big consideration is location of where you will be parked most of the time.
We have a nice RV thread- https://forums.bmwmoa.org/showthread.php?69427-Official-MOA-RV-thread Have a peek.

You want a good pickup truck and a fifth wheel toy hauler. :nod

We have a Class C and an enclosed trailer for the bikes. Great for motocross races and rallies but once the bus is parked, it's a pain to move. Yeah, you can get around on the bike, but it's better to have the option of a regular vehicle.
