mounting bar for adding multiple accessories

I'm riding a new to me 2005 R1200RT. I'd like to start adding some accessory mounts for my cell phone, navigation devices, a video camera and maybe some other stuff too.
I have noticed some bikes have mounted a straight bar above their standard handle bars then install multiple ram mounts on the bar for quick adding and removing accessories.
I have done some searches but have not been able to find mounting bars. Does anyone know of a commercially made mounting bar or similar mounting system? I'd appreciate a web link if you do know of anything I could use.
